STUDIO UPDATES

Important note

MARCH BREAK:

We’re taking one week off in March for spring break! No classes the week of 3/27 - 3/31. This is our first time having a piano spring break!!!

Just keep in mind that though we’re not meeting for classes, the piano challenge is still going on that week.

PRACTICE SESSION:

We have a group practice session on Saturday 3/11. You can jump in at anytime between 9am - 11am and can stay for as short as 15 minutes or 30 minutes. Use the same zoom link we use for classes.

Remember that Practice sessions are a great way for you to ask for help if there are things you need clarification on, and it’s also a chance to meet other students from other parts of the US And the world.

Piano Challenge!

The 6-week "Art of practice" piano challenge will start on Monday 6!

With Intentional, focused and strategic work, my hope is that students understand how to approach their practice times efficiently and effectively.

Let’s get to know VIRIDIANA!

Vidi is one of our students from Turlock CA, about 5 hours away from Los Angeles, and she's a part of an organization called CUPS which stands for Center for Urban Performance and Service. She helps a lot of CUPS piano students learn their pieces as well as practice and in turn, it helps keep her playlist alive.

She also has shown some significant improvements in her improvisation and composition skills!

Great job Vidi!

Levi!

Wendy!

Mom and Son Piano Duo!

Wendy and Levi are a Mom and Son piano duo who are both so fun during class AND outside of class. They always send their audio recordings every week, and most of them make me laugh! Levi is a ball of joy and thankfulness. Ask him what he’s thankful for and he will name 10 things he’s grateful for...from trees, to cows (because we get milk and steak from them), to his mom, trampolines and everything else he can think of. And Wendy is an amazing mom who is setting such a great example for her son, showing him that it’s never too late to learn any skill! Both of them work very hard and are always sending in their audio assignments! Keep it up Wendy and Levi!
